Dalālatu Alfāz Jaram wa Junāh wa Dzanb fī al- Qur’ān al-Karīm wa Qiyamuhā at-Tarbawiyyah

Abstract

As the main authoritative and normative source of Islamic teachings, al-Qur’ān contains guidelines (irsyād) and instructions (hidāyah) for Muslims. These guidelines and instructions appear expressed or implied in every word contained therein. Within this context, this research aims to find the educational values of the words jaram, junāḥ, and ḏanb contained in the al-Qur’ān. This study is a qualitative research project based on the literature review method. It utilizes data sourced from texts or manuscripts in the form of books and articles related to the core theme of the discussion. Specifically, two types of data are used: primary data and secondary data. Primary data consist of books that discuss the meaning of Al-Quran verses, Islamic educational values, and the Arabic grammatical system, particularly those related to semantics. Secondary data comprise supporting data sourced from various other written works relevant to the research.
