Author Guidelines
Lisanudhad is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Arabic Language Education Department, Faculty of Tarbiyah, Universitas Darussalam (UNIDA) Gontor. The journal welcomes original and high-quality scholarly contributions in the fields of: Arabic language teaching of South East Asian Learners, Arabic Language Acquisition for South East Asian Region, Arabic Standardize Testing System, Teaching Arabic for Specific Purposes, Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), Technology-Enhance language learning, and Arabic Languistic and Literature.
Authors are encouraged to read and follow the guidelines below before submitting a manuscript.
Manuscript Originality:
- Be original and unpublished.
- Not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- Be free from plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, and duplicate publication.
- Have the approval of all listed authors.
- Comply with the publication ethics of Lisanudhad.
All submissions will be screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer-review process.

Manuscripts may be submitted in:

- Arabic
Authors whose first language is not English are strongly encouraged to have their manuscripts professionally proofread before submission.
Manuscript Preparation:
- Written in MS Word format with paper size A4.
- Written with Times New Roman font for Latin letters (12 pts) and Sakkal Majalla font for Arabic letters (16 pts), 1.5 line spacing.
- Length 5.000 - 8.000 words (excluding references) or 15 - 20 pages
- using the provided template
Manuscript Structure:
The manuscript should contain the following sections:
Title
- Clear and concise.
- Maximum 15 words.
- Reflects the content of the study.
Author Informations
Include:
- Full name(s)
- Affiliation

- ORCID ID (recommended)
- Email address of corresponding author
Abstract
The abstract should:
- Be written in English.
- Contain 150–250 words.

Provide 3–6 keywords separated by semicolons.

Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as:

Requirements:
- Minimum 25 references.
- At least 80% should be journal articles.
- At least 80% should be published within the last five years.
- Every in-text citation must appear in the reference list.
- Every reference listed must be cited in the manuscript.
- Bibliographical references must be noted in footnotes and bibliography according to the Modern Humanities Research Association (MHRA) 3rd Edition.
Footnote Guidelines
- When a source is cited for the first time, full information is provided: full name(s) of author(s), title of the source in italic, and in brackets the place of publication, publishing company, date of publication, and the precise page cited.
- For the following citations of the same source, list the full name(s) of author(s), two or three words of the title, ellipsis (...), a comma, and then the specific page number(s). The word ibid. may be used, but op.cit. and cit. are not allowed.
