This study aims to describe imperative sentence forms and their meanings in the context of Arabic linguistics. The research approach used is qualitative-descriptive because the type of research is library research. This study uses two data, primary data and secondary data. Primary data is in the form of Arabic books, especially in the fields of Arabic morphology, Arabic syntax, and Arabic literature which explains imperative sentences. Secondary data in the form of magazines, letters, and notes relevant to the topic of discussion. The data technique was done by using documentation, namely the researcher documenting the various imperative sentences in these books for data analysis. Data analysis was performed by collecting data, reducing data, and presenting data. The results showed that the impereative sentence forms in the Arabic linguistic constellation were divided into four: imperative sentences, fi’lu al-muḍāri majūm bilām al-amr, ism u fi’li al-amr, al-maṣdar, al-nāib ‘an. fi’li al-amr. Meanwhile, the meaning of the imperative sentence is divided into two, namely the essential imperative sentence and the literary imperative sentence.
